Family Activity Breaks Winner's of a "Sun Military Award 2014 at A Night Of Heroes" Dec 9th Heroes Welcome work in Support of FAB Charity

Heroes Welcome UK is extremely proud to be associated with the FAB team, who do fantastic work in helping to give grieving military families a unique opportunity to share their grief and most importantly begin the healing process through the fellowship and experience of an exciting adventure based family holiday.
FAB Charity do fantastic work in providing much needed activity break holidays for Military families who have recently lost a family member, parent or loved one. The respite and special care delivered by the dedicated FAB team helps those affected to come to terms with their tragic loss and to do so amongst those who can empathise and best understand the unique pressures of military family life.
Heroes Welcome In Scarborough and Whitby works closely with the FAB team to enhance the "Holiday" experiences and provide additional and appropriate support. in 2014 this included a Grand Day out at the Seaside with complimentary fish and chips, ice creams, rides , activities and rock. the highlight of the day was a Parachute drop onto Scarborough South beach by 4 Para regimental display team the Ravens.
