I am delighted to be able to report that the Evening Standard has joined forces with the Licensed Taxi Drivers Association and various other London cab operators including Computer Cabs and Hailo to partner and support the Heroes Welcome in London initiative. The London scheme is open to all the capitals business operators, however our primary aim is to recruit as many London Black Cab drivers as possible. (I gave an impromptu presentation to Cab drivers at the Great Suffolk Street, Cabbieshack rest area and had a 100 % take up rate, so good on them!)
