As a consequence of the NACO Conference we have seen a sharp increase in inquiries and also the number of new members joining up. I have also heard from Gibraltar that they have been hosting a number of recuperating service personnel and using their Heroes Welcome Scheme to enhance the experience, also reports in from soldiers returning from the Falkland Islands say how much they have appreciated seeing Heroes Welcome stickers across Port Stanley and beyond.
In the UK I can confirm that the following are working up Heroes Welcome schemes (the following is for members info only and not to be published in the press) , Aberdeen, East Hampshire, Havant, North Somerset, Wetherby and Woking. Also my thanks go to Peter Howell of the Dorchester St George's Day Luncheon Club for generously sponsoring, Heroes Welcome In London scheme tailored to Black Cab drivers.
