Help for Heroes / Heroes Welcome UK / St Georges Day Lunch 2012 at the Dorchester Hotel

I just wanted to share with you my experience of last Friday afternoon, one which was really not expected.

I was recently invited to join WO1 W..D.G Mott OBE (GSM London) as one of the two "Guests of Honour" attending this rather special St George's Day Lunch held annually at the Dorchester. This year's chosen charities were Help For Heroes and Clic Sargent

The warm reception given to both the GSM and myself was generous and moving and I think we both might have suffered a little dust in our eyes! I am not sure of the exact figure raised on the day but I am sure that the final total will be as impressive.

It was quite simply a memorable day and brought some welcome attention to the cause along the way.
